Ben Caplan

I’m a Professor in the Department of Philosophy at KU. I’m interested in metaphysics, philosophy of language, and the history of analytic philosophy. My teaching interests include questions about gender, race, disability, and sexual orientation (like whether they exist and, if so, what they are). I also teach logic.

I was born and raised in Montréal, which is in a province (Québec) that produces 72% of the world’s maple syrup.
