I received a B.A. in philosophy from Stanford in 1996 and a Ph.D. in philosophy from Princeton in 2003. I taught at Reed College before coming to Kansas in 2007.
These days most of my research focuses on Friedrich Nietzsche, and I currently serve as an associate editor at The Journal of Nietzsche Studies.
